Delete Account
You may request deletion of your Camera Overlay cloud account and all information associated with it by emailing:
support@cameraoverlay.com
Please send the request from the email address associated with your Camera Overlay account and use the subject line:
Camera Overlay Account Deletion Request
In your message, please confirm that you want your Camera Overlay cloud account and all associated cloud data permanently deleted.
What We Delete
Once your identity has been verified, we will delete:
- Your Camera Overlay cloud account;
- Your email address and account identifier;
- All images stored in your Camera Overlay cloud account; and
- Associated cloud records connected to your account.
Deleting your cloud account does not delete photographs stored locally on your phone, tablet, or other device.
Processing Time
We will normally process verified deletion requests within 7 business days.
Your account and cloud images will be removed from active systems when the request is completed. Deleted cloud images may remain in protected recovery storage for up to 7 days.
Limited authentication records, security logs, and residual backup copies may take up to 180 days to be fully removed. Certain information may be retained longer where required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or protect the security of the service.
Identity Verification
To protect your account from unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to verify that you control the email address associated with the account or provide other limited information necessary to confirm your identity.
